Hi! I’m Lynn, co-author of the book Let’s Elope!, founder of letselope.com and blogger for Elopology. Prior to writing Let’s Elope!, my
friend, Scott and I realized that there really were no books available
on how to plan a non-traditional wedding, just those on the Traditional Big Wedding (TBW).
So, we started researching elopements. There were plenty of couples
who had eloped and who shared their stories with us. There were plenty
of places offering non-traditional weddings. And, there were numerous
alternatives to the TBW. We put all of this information together and
published Let’s Elope! in 2001.
Since then, eloping and non-traditional weddings have become a
popular alternative to the TBW. The purpose of letselope.com is to
provide you with the latest resources for eloping and non-TBW’s based
on our research and your input.
Weddings should be exciting and romantic and that’s what the words ”Let’s Elope!” imply!
